Philadelphia Eagles backup quarterback Mike Kafka is expected to be out three weeks after suffering a broken left hand.
Eagles head coach Andy Reid told the Inquirer on Saturday that Kafka sustained the injury during Thursday's 24-23 preseason-opening win over Pittsburgh, when his non-throwing hand was stepped on.
The Northwestern product went 5-for-9 with 31 yards and an interception, while his sub, Nick Foles, finished 6-for-10 for 144 yards and a touchdown.
