The Chicago Bears have lost defensive end Turk McBride for the season.
McBride was carted off the practice field on Monday with a ruptured Achilles tendon. He was signed by the Bears in the offseason.
The 6-foot-2, 278-pounder played just 15 times over the past two seasons for the New Orleans Saints.
The Tennessee product has recorded 125 tackles and 9 1/2 sacks in 66 career games with Kansas City, Detroit and New Orleans.
