The Lions have moved up the board to second. Detroit's odds to win the Big Game shifted to +600 from +800 after easily defeating Tennessee 52-14 in Week 8.
"Quarterback, O line, run game, clever offensive coordinator, power, finesse, culture — there are no weaknesses to that offense," host Colin Cowherd said about the Lions on a recent episode of "The Herd."
The Ravens — who round out the top three — fell slightly to +750 from +600 after losing to the Browns, 29-24.
The fourth team on the board is now Buffalo. The Bills' odds shortened to +900 from +1200 after getting the 31-10 win over Seattle.
"The Bills look like legitimate Super Bowl contenders," FOX Sports NFL writer Eric D. Williams noted. "They are tough to beat, with a defense that can keep opposing offenses out of the end zone in critical moments of the game and a balanced offense that can score from anywhere on the field."
A team taking a huge tumble are the New York Jets.
The Jets were sitting at +4000 ahead of their Week 8 matchup against New England. After Gang Green fell 25-22 to the Pats, their Super Bowl futures plummeted to +6500.
"Clearly, Robert Saleh wasn't the problem with the Jets. It was always about Aaron Rodgers and their inept offense," FOX Sports NFL reporter Ralph Vacchiano explained. "It doesn't matter that Todd Downing is now calling the plays for demoted offensive coordinator Nathanial Hackett. The issues are still the same. They make too many mistakes and there's just too much confusion."
Other notable moves include the Commanders shortening to +2200 from +3000, the Rams surging to +6000 from +10000 and the Cowboys dropping to +8000 from +5000.
