TAMPA, Fla. (Dec. 6, 2017) -- Tune in Thursday, Dec.7 at 10:30 p.m., on FOX Sports Sun, the regional television home of the Tampa Bay Lightning, as we get set to premiere an all-new episode of "Inside the Lightning" upon conclusion of the Tampa Bay vs. Colorado Avalanche game. Titled "Andy's Induction," this must-watch episode brings Bolts fans behind-the-scenes at Dave Andreychuk's induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame.
Lightning fans watching Thursday night's premiere will receive an all-access pass to the Hall of Fame weekend festivities, including watching his ring ceremony, going on a tour of the Hall and getting an opportunity to participate in the Legends game with former Lightning teammates Marty St. Louis and Brad Richards. Viewers will enjoy listening to some of the special moments from Andreychuk's speech at the Hall of Fame ceremony, while also hearing Lightning General Manager Steve Yzerman, Founder Phil Esposito, fellow 2017 inductee Mark Recchi and Andreychuk's parents reflect on his 23-year NHL career. The episode concludes with a one-on-one interview as Andreychuk looks back on his storied career, in which he scored 640 goals and helped lead the Lightning to the Stanley Cup in 2004, which was not only the first championship for the franchise, but the first for Andreychuk, who had played 22 seasons without the opportunity to lift the Stanley Cup.
