Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey on Friday erased the memory of his historically bad bench press number from Thursday with a strong 4.49-second time that should get him back in the good graces of anyone observing him at the NFL Scouting Combine.

But that doesn't mean nothing went wrong for the 2015 Heisman runner-up. McCaffrey blazed down the track with his name spelled McCaff-ERY (those last three letters could trip up anyone) on the back of his Combine-issued tank top.

McCaffrey is one of three running backs whom most mock drafts project to go in the first round. LSU's Leonard Fournette and Florida State's Dalvin Cook are the others, and they ran 4.51- and 4.5-second 40s on Friday.

So even though McCaffrey might not be strong, he's fast enough that NFL teams will have an easier time remembering his name than whoever printed the back of his 40 attire.
