Strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk is expected to put her title on the line against No. 1 contender Jessica Andrade at UFC 211 in Dallas on May 13.

Sources close to the contest confirmed the news to FOX Sports on Monday following an initial report from Sport.pl in Poland.

UFC officials have not made an announcement yet about the fight.

For Jedrzejczyk, the proposed bout at UFC 211 would be the fifth defense of her strawweight title after capturing the belt from Carla Esparza in 2015.

Most recently, Jedrzejczyk defeated fellow Polish strawweeight Karolina Kowalkiewicz at UFC 205 this past November in New York. Following time at home in Poland, Jedrzejczyk just recently returned to the United States to start her training camp at American Top Team as she confirmed on her Instagram account a week ago.

As for Andrade, she's been on an incredible tear since joining the strawweight division three fights ago.

The Brazilian demolished former title contender Jessica Penne in her debut at 115 pounds before tapping out Joanne Calderwood at UFC 203 last September. Andrade then defeated Invicta FC strawweight champion Angela Hill in a 'Fight of the Night' performance just a couple of weeks ago in Houston.

Afterwards, UFC president Dana White declared Andrade the No. 1 contender for the strawweight title and now it appears she's received her date for the championship fight.

UFC 211 takes place on May 13 in Dallas at the American Airlines Center with heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic facing Junior Dos Santos in the main event.
