The Dallas Cowboys lost their season series with the New York Giants 2-0 -- their only losses of the season -- but they're not going down quietly.

The Cowboys asked the NFL to investigate a possible rules violation by the Giants in last week's game, the New York Post reported Thursday, and the league is looking into it.

At one point in the fourth quarter, Giants quarterback Eli Manning had trouble hearing the play calls radioed to him by Ben McAdoo. The coach then resorted to using a walkie-talkie, which solved the problem, but it's unclear if the Giants gained an unfair advantage. The radios in players' helmets cut off automatically with 15 seconds left on the play clock, and McAdoo and the Giants could've circumvented that with walkie-talkies.

"I don't know when he was on the walkie-talkie or not,'' Manning told the Post. "I just knew it was back in my ear, and we were going.''
