Both men see a hard fought, closely contested game that will end in a Cowboys victory, pushing Dallas' win streak to 11 straight games. But that's not the only streak on the line for Dak Prescott & Co.
As Shannon explains, the Cowboys have set an NFL record over the past four games, becoming the first team in professional football history to win four consecutive games without forcing a single turnover.
SHANNON: Skip, let me start by saying this. I think this game will be a lot closer than people anticipate, because the Cowboys are not built to take advantage of what Minnesota is really weak at, and that's pass protection. Their tied for 25th in sacks, tied for 27th in takeaways, but the Minnesota offense is one-dimensional. So when you become one-dimensional, even an average defense can take advantage when they know they only have to stop one phase of your offense. But the Vikings defense is second in scoring defense and third in total D.
It baffles me that for the first time in the 97-year history of the National Football League, a team has won four straight games in which they did not generate a turnover. That's what the Dallas Cowboys have done. They've won four straight games. Almost 100 years -- in almost a century, nobody has been able to do what the Dallas Cowboys are doing.
SKIP: And in that stretch, they've turned it over how many times, the Dallas Cowboys?
SHANNON: Zero.
