The Milwaukee Brewers sent seven prospects to compete for the Salt River Rafters in the Arizona Fall League, which wrapped up with the Mesa Solar Sox's 6-1 win over the Surprise Saguaros on Saturday.

In the end catcher Jacob Nottinham and outfielder Brett Phillips were tapped to compete in the AFL Fall Stars Game.

Nottingham accounted for one of the East Fall Stars' six hits in the loss, driving in their first run with an RBI double in the fifth inning, while Phillips struggled, going 0-for-2 at the plate.

Tyler Spurlin 11 16 2.81 9 5 4 14 0.81

-- Diaz underwhelmed with a .239 average and a .338 on-base percentage through 17 games, but the Brewers' No. 8-ranked prospect ended the season with a six-game hit streak.

-- Reliever Tayler Scott was one of the Rafters' most effective pitchers, allowing just 12 hits through 14 1/3 innings pitched.

-- Phillips was added to the 40-man roster last week. The Brewers' No. 7-ranked prospect had a down season in Double-A, and hit just .210 with nine RBI in the AFL.

-- After posting solid numbers in Double-A, Spurlin shined this fall, posting a 0.81 WHIP and allowing just nine hits through 16 innings and a 2.81 ERA.

-- Uhen had an uneventful run with the Rafters, allowing 14 hits and nine runs through 12 2/3 innings pitched with a 1.5 WHIP.

-- Salas appeared in six games for the Rafters and didn't do much to improve his standing in the organization. His 7.63 ERA was the team's second-highest. A 10th-round pick of the Brewers in 2014, Salas spent the bulk of last season in Double-A, appearing in 13 games (12 starts) and posting a 5.13 ERA through 47 1/3 innings.
