MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) Victor Sanders scored 19 points, including a trio of 3-pointers, to lead Idaho to a 90-67 win in its season opener over Corban University on Saturday night.

Perrion Callandret added 14 points, Brayon Blake had 13 points to go with 11 rebounds, and Arkadiy Mkrtychyan had 12 points with seven rebounds. The Vandals shot 49 percent from the field, including 8 of 14 from long range, and controlled the glass 49-26.

Idaho took control with a 12-0 run midway through the first half that included a pair of 3-pointers from Callandret and made it 39-26 with 1:42 left before the break. A pair of free throws from Brayon Blake followed by another 3-pointer from Callandret early in the second half put Idaho up 46-32 and the margin stayed in double figures the rest of the way.

Corban, an NAIA program, was led by Chris Martin's 13 points.
