The tributes and gifts to Boston Red Sox' slugger David Ortiz continue, after he has retired.

On Friday, it was announced that Jet Blue Airlines will honor Ortiz by naming Gate 34 at Boston's Logan Airport for Big Papi.

Per the Boston Globe:

"The reason I'm going nowhere is because my heart is buried right here in the middle of this town," the former Red Sox slugger told the crowd. A rep from JetBlue also announced that Gate 34 at Logan Airport's Terminal C will be named for Big Papi. "You mean I'm going to have my own gate at the airport?" Ortiz said. "You're [messing] with me, aren't you?"

Ortiz, of course, wore that number during his career with the Red Sox.
