With a depleted outfield, the Milwaukee Brewers have recalled Michael Reed from Triple-A Colorado Springs.

Injuries to Keon Broxton (broken wrist) and Kirk Nieuwenhuis (abdominal strain) forced the necessity for Millwaukee to bring up another outfielder.

Reed played in 121 games this season for the Sky Sox, whose season ended Sept. 4, batting .244 with a .366 on-base percentage and .365 slugging percentage. He hit eight home runs and had 20 steals in 28 attempts.
