Brandon Jackson, a starting defensive back for Army, died Sunday in a single-car accident in Croton, New York.
The military academy announced Jackson's death Monday in a press release.

Jackson was a sophomore from Queens, New York. The accident is under investigation.
"Words cannot describe the grief that our team is feeling over the loss of our brother and friend, Brandon," Head coach Jeff Monken said. "He was a beloved teammate and our hearts are with his family at this time of tragedy."
