Olympian gets thrown off his horse, somersaults over gate

Ruy Fonseca's horse stopped short of one of the gates and bucked the Brazilian equestrian over it during Tuesday's jumping qualifying in Rio de Janeiro.

The Brazilian hopeful was eliminated from reaching the finals, but at least he was OK after his somersault over the obstacle.

Heck, he even got right up and fixed the gate himself.

Meanwhile, his horse -- Tom Bombadill Too -- looked pretty darn happy with himself galloping around the course unencumbered.
