NASCAR has fined Tony Gibson, crew chief for Kurt Busch, $10,000 for an improper body modification at Pocono Raceway.
Gibson's current probation has also been extended until Dec. 31, which he has been serving due to a lug nut violation at Charlotte Motor Speedway in May.
The right-rear quater panel of Busch's No. 41 Stewart-Haas Racing Chevrolet was found to be modified during post-race inspection after Monday's Pennsylvania 400.
Josh Patch, crew chief for race winner Chris Buescher and the No. 34 Front Row Motorsports Ford, received a $1,000 fine after a fueler serviced the car with the face shield up during the race.
Teams of Kyle Busch, Matt Kenseth and Martin Truex Jr. received written warnings and a loss of 15 minutes of practice time at Watkins Glen after failing template inspection three times during pre-qualifying inspection.
Other teams receiving written warnings include Regan Smith and David Ragan for failing pre-race laser and template inspection twice, Kyle Larson for failing template inspection twice.
Teams of Casey Mears and Michael McDowell were also handed written warnings for failing pre-qualifying laser inspection twice.
