Rangers right-hander Yu Darvish couldn't beat the Orioles on Tuesday night, but he seemingly had no trouble toying with physics.

Check out a couple of these filthy offerings:

If you think the Orioles hitters were surprised, just imagine what was Jonathan Lucroy was thinking. It was his first game behind the plate following his trade from the Brewers.

Unfortunately for Darvish, the Orioles were able to square up on at least three of his pitches, as Pedro Alvarez (twice) and Adam Jones took him deep in Baltimore's 5-1 win. Along those lines, comes this nugget:

Yu Darvish said he shook off Jonathan Lucroy on all three Orioles homers. "Maybe next time I should trust him more," Darvish said.

So, perhaps we should expect even better things from Darvish in his next outing.
