This just in: Martin Truex Jr. and his Furniture Row Racing Toyota are still wicked fast.

On Friday, Truex won the pole for Sunday's Pennsylvania 400 at Pocono Raceway, and on Saturday, he led the final Happy Hour round of practice at the three-turn, 2.5-mile track.

In Happy Hour, Truex had a best lap of 176.377 miles per hour in his Furniture Row Toyota.

Second-fast was 2012 Sprint Cup champion Brad Keselowski at 176.136 mph in the No. 2 Team Penske Ford.

Third was 2014 champ Kevin Harvick, who ran 176.014 mph in his No. 4 Stewart-Haas Racing Chevrolet. Behind Harvick came his SHR teammate, Kurt Busch, who won the June race here, with rookie Chase Elliott completing the top five.

In Sunday's race, Truex will drive the same Toyota he led 392 of 400 laps in the Coca-Cola 600 with. He will unquestionably be one of the favorites.

"This is the kind of track where everything comes into play just like Indy last week," said Truex, who won at Pocono last year. "Horsepower, aero, mechanical grip, handling, I mean everything comes into play at a track like this where the straightaway speeds are high, the banking is low in the corners and you need a lot of downforce.

"These are just really challenging type of race tracks to get good at and to be fast on and certainly we've had really good speed this year," Truex said.
