Sunday, March 6: Minnesota Wild defenseman Matt Dumba celebrates his goal in the third period against the St. Louis Blues at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn.

The Minnesota Wild have signed defenseman Matt Dumba to a two-year deal worth $5.1 million.

Dumba was a restricted free agent.

The contract is set to pay out $2.35 million next season and $2.75 during the 2017-18 season, and has an annual cap hit of $2.55 million.

Dumba registered career highs in points (26), goals (10), assists (16) power-play goals (6) and game-winning goals (3).
