LAS VEGAS (AP) The Los Angeles Lakers say forward Larry Nance Jr. has a ''probable fracture'' is in right hand.
Nance played Thursday in an 88-80 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers in Las Vegas during the NBA Summer League, getting injured with only seconds remaining.
The Lakers say X-rays taken after the game show a ''probable fracture.'' They say Nance will return to Los Angeles to be examined by a hand specialist on Friday.
Jesse Mermuys, the team's coach in the summer league, says in a story posted on the Lakers website that ''if it's not great news, he's a great kid and a hard worker. He'll be back sooner than whatever they say.''
