Minnesota Timberwolves fans are smarting over a snub at last night's "ESPYs," ABC and ESPN's annual sports awards show.

The presentation included an "in memoriam" tribute to sports figures who have died over the last year, and former Wolves coach Flip Saunders was notably absent.

The Star Tribune's Michael Rand reports that Saunders -- who worked for network as an analyst -- was included in the presentation, but that the brief segment featuring the late Wolves coach wasn't featured on the broadcast for reasons that remain unclear, according to an ESPN spokesperson.
