A person familiar with the moves says the Washington Wizards will acquire point guard Trey Burke from the Utah Jazz for a 2021 second-round draft pick and also have agreed to a $9 million, three-year contract with Czech guard Tomas Satoransky.
The Wizards will contribute $650,000 toward Satoransky's buyout from the Spanish club he has been with, the maximum amount NBA teams can pay.
The person confirmed the Burke and Satoransky deals on Sunday to The Associated Press, speaking on condition of anonymity because there is an NBA moratorium on such moves until next Thursday.
Satoransky, drafted in the second round in 2012 by Washington, and Burke add needed depth to the Wizards, who also agreed Sunday to a $26 million, four-year contract with power forward Andrew Nicholson.
All three moves were first reported by Yahoo Sports.
