The Kings and had a good night at the NHL Awards on Thursday in Las Vegas.
Kings captain Anze Kopitar took home the Selke Trophy (top defensive forward) and the Lady Bing Award (payer who best displays gentlemanly conduct) while Drew Doughty won the Norris Trophy (top defenseman).
Doughty got emotional when thanking his mother for her support.
Earlier in the day, the NHL officially welcomed the yet-to-be-named Las Vegas franchise to the sport.
