It's good to be the king.

Conor McGregor enjoys plenty of perks as the UFC's highest paid athlete. And the Irishman's latest coup was spending some time backstage with superstar singer Rihanna ahead of her concert in Dublin.

McGregor posted a photo with Rihanna on Tuesday night with the caption "an honor to see the pound for pound number 1 female in the game perform tonight! This woman ain't playing!"

The huge show that took place in Dublin's Aviva Stadium actually brought Rihanna to tears, thanks to a crowd that roared all night long while she performed.

What a night!!!! Such an emotional show for me! I feel so lucky to have a team like the #Navy man! I'm blessed!! No matter what I'm on you always snatch me out of it! I'm so grateful to have y'all! #DUBLIN #ANTIWORLDTOUR

Rihanna also posted a photo with McGregor after her performance and thanked the featherweight champion for his "kind words."

Met @thenotoriousmma #ConorMcGregor backstage last night! So much heart! Thanks for your kind words!

In a funny coincidence, UFC strawweight Joanne Calderwood was actually also in attendance at the same show on Tuesday night, although it doesn't appear she got the same backstage access as McGregor.

Rihanna concert was amazing, her band and back up dancers were awesome #rihanna #dublin #goodtimes

Now that McGregor has met Rihanna, maybe he'll opt to use one of her songs for his next walk out at UFC 202? No one will know for sure until Aug. 20 when he meets Nate Diaz for a second time.
