The Milwaukee Brewers have placed outfielder Domingo Santana on the 15-day disabled list with right elbow soreness, recalling Keon Broxton from the Triple-A Colorado Springs Sky Sox in his place.

The 23-year-old recently returned the lineup after dealing with a shoulder injury, and has played in 40 games this season, batting .234 with 30 hits, 13 RBI, eight doubles and four home runs.

Broxton returns to the Brewers after being optioned to the Sky Sox earlier this month, and is batting just .105 with Milwaukee this year.
