The New York Giants ushered in a new coaching regime this offseason and they're keeping things lively by playing TV theme songs from various eras and genres to indicate breaks and changes in practice segments.
"They didn't get it from my phone, I don't think," Manning said of the music, per NJ.com Giants beat writer Jordan Ranaan. "I only heard one song that I thought would maybe be on the playlist in my phone. I'm kind of zoned in where I don't notice all of the songs."
The various Giants beat writers have certainly taken notice of the tunes, documenting the OTA workouts soundtrack that's included the themes or "Friends," "Sanford and Son" and more:
First-year head coach Ben McAdoo isn't making the playlist, though. "Not me," McAdoo said. "I try not to micromanage."
But whoever is in charge of the music, they're doing... pretty, pretty good.
