Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade is feeling the heat after being seen shooting pregame baskets Saturday night as Canada's national anthem was being sung.
The Toronto Raptors went on to beat Miami 95-91 to take a 2-1 series lead, but after the game, Wade, who scored 38, was forced to play more defense.
"I understand whatever's said about it, but I'm not a disrespectful person," Wade told the Palm Beach Post.
But the criticism continued on social media Sunday, with a storm of tweets and replaying of video showing the three-time champion taking a few extra shots duiring "Oh, Canada."
Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf was famously suspended one game in 1996 for failing to "stand and line up in a dignified posture" during the national anthem
