CLEVELAND (AP) The Cleveland Indians have recalled right-hander Cody Anderson to start Saturday's game against the Kansas City Royals.

Anderson began the season in Cleveland's rotation but struggled in four starts, going 0-1 with a 7.65 ERA and allowing six home runs in 20 innings. He was optioned to Triple-A Columbus on April 27 and made one start.

Anderson was 7-3 with a 3.65 ERA in 15 starts last season with the Indians.

Outfielder Tyler Naquin, who batted .315 in 22 games, was optioned to Columbus. He made the team after a strong showing in spring training and had 15 starts in center field.
