Practice is now officially concluded for Sunday's GEICO 500 (FOX, 12:30 p.m. ET) NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway.

Leading the way in the final 55-minute Happy Hour session were quasi-teammates Joey Logano of Team Penske and Wood Brothers Racing's Ryan Blaney. Logano had a best lap of 196.280 miles per hour to 196.238 mph for Blaney.

Rookie Chase Elliott was fourth in a Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet ahead of Danica Patrick and Brian Scott. Six-time Talladega winner Dale Earnhardt Jr. ended the session seventh.

Tony Stewart took his first laps of the day toward the end of Happy Hour. Ty Dillon will qualify the No. 14 Stewart-Haas Racing Chevrolet. Stewart will start the race Sunday before yielding to Dillon early on as his relief driver.

Cup qualifying is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. ET on Saturday and will be televised live on FOX.
