Detroit manager Ausmus ejected against Yankees

DETROIT (AP) Detroit Tigers manager Brad Ausmus has been ejected in the fifth inning of Saturday's game against the New York Yankees.

Ausmus appeared to be in the dugout still when he was tossed, and he never came out too far to argue with plate umpire Paul Emmel. It wasn't clear what the original dispute was about. The Yankees were batting when Ausmus was ejected.

It was the eighth ejection of Ausmus' managerial career.
