Next to Steph Curry, LeBron James is arguably the most recognizable NBA player right now -- and has been for years. Heck, most fans could just listen to LeBron talk and know who he is.
There are people out there, though, who wouldn't recognize the four-time MVP if he was standing 3 feet in front of them. As crazy and ludicrous as that sounds, it's true.
James went undercover at Blaze Pizza -- a pizza chain in which he holds equity -- in Pasadena, Calif., last month, posing as the chain's newest employee, "Ron." He got some weird looks from a few suspecting customers, but no one called his bluff. Well, one patron did say he looked like Dwayne Wade, so there's that.
All he was wearing was a backwards hat! No mustache. No sunglasses. JUST A HAT. And no one noticed.
Maybe they didn't see through his "disguise," since he claimed he was from Michigan. Or that he didn't know what basketball was.
Baffling. Truly baffling.
