ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) The Buffalo Bills have signed free agent center Fernando Velasco to add experienced depth to their offensive line.

The Bills announced the signing on Thursday, hours after Velasco began his visit at the team's facility in Orchard Park, New York.

Listed at 6-foot-4 and 310 pounds, Velasco spent the past two years with the Carolina Panthers. He has seven seasons of NFL experience, including his first four with Tennessee and one in Pittsburgh.

Velasco has versatility, as he's also had experience playing both guard spots.

Overall, he has 38 starts in 83 career games.
