BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) Free agent linebacker Zach Brown has signed a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills, the player's agent has confirmed to The Associated Press.

Carl Carey says Brown signed on Monday after meeting with Bills officials at the team's headquarters in Orchard Park. NFL.com first reported Brown's signing.

Brown spent four seasons with the Tennessee Titans, who selected him in the second round of the 2012 draft.

His career was derailed after he tore a pectoral muscle in Tennessee's 2014 season opener. He had just five starts in 16 games with Titans last year.

Overall, he has 10 sacks and six interceptions in 49 games, including 33 starts.

Brown fills a need in Buffalo after the team lost starter Nigel Bradham in free agency, and cut defensive end Mario Williams.
