ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) The Denver Broncos have much bigger decisions looming as they set out to defend their Super Bowl title, but they started Monday by signing free agent tight end Richard Gordon and defensive lineman Phil Taylor.

Gordon is a sixth-year pro and a big blocker who spent seven weeks with Denver last season, playing in one game. He has played in 35 career games with the Raiders, Chiefs, Titans and Broncos.

Taylor is a fifth-year pro who was out of football last year after playing for the Cleveland Browns from 2011-14. He was the 21st overall pick out of Baylor in 2011.

Taylor started 42 of 44 games for the Browns, collecting seven career sacks and 109 tackles.
