'The Bachelor' took over Wrigley Field with this season's bachelor Ben Higgins -- who is an avid Chicago Cubs fan from Indiana -- using the Friendly Confines for a date with contestant Joelle 'JoJo' Fletcher.

The lovestruck duo took advantage of the opportunity to have dinner in the outfield, take in the sights, along with taking some at-bats in the historic ballpark -- as anyone would with an entire ballpark to themselves for an evening.

While the episode itself may have been interesting for fans, Minnesota Twins pitcher Phil Hughes couldn't get enough of The Bachelor judging from his live tweets from the show.

Hughes even correctly picked Emily would be heading home.

For the record I think Emily goes home tonight #TheBachelor

Emily favorited my tweet about her going home. Confirmation or trolling? #TheBachelor

— Phil Hughes (@PJHughes45) February 16, 2016

Hate to say I called it cause Emily seems like a nice person. No spark #TheBachelor

Even after the show, Hughes offered a quick power ranking of remaining bachelorettes for a bonus.

Current #Bachelor power rankings:
