Driver Landon Cassill came up with the perfect synergy for Peyton Manning and Kyle Busch in a tweet after the Denver Broncos defeated the Carolina Panthers 24-10 on Sunday.

The 2015 NASCAR season and 2015 NFL season both wound up with champions that prominently featured the number 18.

Both Manning and Busch faced similar hurdles in making it to the top this year.

Busch suffered a broken right leg and left foot in an accident at Daytona International Speedway on Feb. 21. The injuries kept him out of the better part of the first half of the season.

Manning played in 10 regular-season games, starting nine, suffering a torn plantar fascia in November.

Cassill recognized the shortened seasons by both Busch and Manning and tweeted:

Wait did the 18 just win the championship only competing on a part time schedule?
