Arsene Wenger says he will recall Arsenal midfielder Serge Gnabry from his loan spell at West Brom.

Gnabry, 20, has struggled to make an impact at The Hawthorns and has made just one league appearance under Tony Pulis.

The Germany U21 international has been left out of the Baggies' matchday squad on a number of occasions this season and Wenger says the midfielder may be sent out on loan to a different club in order to get more game time.

"I am tempted to give him some competition because at the moment, he has not played at West Brom, so I am tempted to let him go somewhere - to do with him what I did with [Francis] Coquelin," said Wenger.

"To go somewhere for a month or two and then come back."

Championship club Brighton are rumored to be interested in taking the midfielder on loan until the end of the season.

The winger has made 19 appearances for the Gunners since joining from Stuttgart's academy in 2011.
