BYU officially announced Monday that the Cougars have received a commitment from four-star defensive lineman Handsome Tanielu of Snow College.

Tanielu was once committed to play for Utah, so this is a big get for Kalani Sitake and the Cougars.

"We are excited to welcome Handsome to the BYU family," Sitake said in a news release. "He is an exceptional player who is physical, tough and will be a great asset to our defensive front."

With Troy Warner also on board for BYU, the Cougars look to be adding some impact defensive players on the recruiting trail.
