For Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Adam Humphries, last Thursday against the St. Louis Rams wasn't just another game. It was a chance to meet one of his role models, wide receiver Wes Welker.

As Rick Brown of ESPN reported, Humphries even posted the following image to his Twitter:

"I wasn't as big a football fan as a kid, but seeing a guy like Welker play and compete and be successful in the NFL really gave me motivation to work hard," Humphries said. "There was a chance I could maybe play one day. Meeting him and playing on the same field as him was awesome. He had some good things to say after the game. We kind of chatted a little bit. It was good to meet him."

Humphries has put together a solid rookie season for the Buccaneers, catching 25 balls for 250 yards and a touchdown. As the season has rolled on, the connection between he and Jameis Winston has also grown, making him a player to watch for in the future with this organization.
