The Cowboys could be getting a major boost on defense in Week 11. Christopher Hanewinckel USA TODAY Sports
The Dallas Cowboys will get a major boost on defense in Week 11 when linebacker Sean Lee returns to the lineup. Head coach Jason Garrett confirmed that Lee has passed through the NFL's concussion protocol and will practice this week.
"We are optimistic [about Lee returning]," Garrett said, per the Star-Telegram. "We will take the situation day by day. We anticipate him practicing on Wednesday."
Lee's return to the lineup would be a major boost for a defense that has struggled against the run over the past month. He racked up 74 tackles, one sack, six tackles for loss and four quarterback pressures through the first eight games before missing Week 10 with the concussion.
