Pittsburgh quarterback Nate Peterman thought he might have a chance for the Panthers' first touchdown of the afternoon, but Notre Dame safety Mattias Farley had other ideas.
The Fighting Irish safety read Peterman's intentions and made a quick break on the ball before leaping in front of the intended receiver to make an athletic interception for Notre Dame.
Coming in the first half, it was the first turnover of the game.
