A Jack Mitchell 35-yard field goal with nine seconds left gave Northwestern a thrilling 23-21 victory over Penn State on Saturday afternoon.
The theatre provided in today's exciting contest was almost akin something one would see in Hollywood. Two of Northwestern's most-famous alumni -- Julia Louis-Dreyfus and George R.R. Martin -- know all about that.
The duo were in attendance for today's contest. Known for her roles in Seinfeld and Veep, Louis-Dreyfus' son, freshman Charlie Hall, is ironically enough a Northwestern basketball player.
The creator of the immensely popular series Game of Thrones, Martin also hails from the prestigious university. Rocking his signature black fisherman's cap, he posed for a picture courtesy of Louis-Dreyfus' Twitter account.
