A rough rookie season continues for Miami wide receiver DeVante Parker.

FOXSports.com has learned that Parker is not expected to play Sunday at Buffalo because of soreness in his surgically repaired left foot. The good news is that medical testing on his foot was negative and Parker is expected to begin practicing again next week.

The No. 14 overall pick in this year's draft, Parker initially hurt his foot during the 2014 college season as Louisville. He aggravated the injury during the offseason and underwent another surgery that replaced a screw from the original procedure.

Having missed most of the preseason, Parker has provided little to Miami's offensive attack this year. He has four catches for 49 yards while appearing in seven games as a backup.
