Browns coach Mike Pettine says he'll wait until early next week before making a decision on whether to stick with Johnny Manziel as his starting quarterback.

Manziel played in Thursday night's 31-10 loss to Cincinnati, filling in for starter Josh McCown, who has injured ribs. Manziel played well in the first half, but the Browns were limited to just two first downs after halftime as the Bengals improved to 8-0.

Pettine says he doesn't know if McCown will be healthy enough to play next week against Pittsburgh.

Pettine says he and the coaching staff will "hit the pause button" and regroup over the next few days. The Browns played three games in 12 days and are entering a stretch where they will play just one game in 24.
