After signing his one-year contract on Tuesday night, New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul put on his shoulder pads and arrived at a Giants practice for the first time in ten months. Pierre-Paul participated in the team jogthroughs, but he did most of his work with the medical team off to the side, per head coach Tom Coughlin's press conference.
Even after seeing just a small sample size, Pierre-Paul's teammates are excited about how he looks out there in practice.

NJ Advanced Media has provided a video of Pierre-Paul's participation in individual drills during Wednesday's practice. He's still got that burst and ability to go from 0 to 60.
Per Coughlin, Pierre-Paul will not play in the Giants' Week 8 game against the New Orleans Saints, but he left open the possibility that Pierre-Paul could travel with the team to New Orleans. There has been speculation that Pierre-Paul is targeting a Week 10 matchup against the New England Patriots for his return, but that has not been confirmed.
