The Philadelphia Eagles lost another close game in Week 7 to drop their record to 3-4, and center Jason Kelce had no intentions of making any kind of excuses for the loss.

"Good teams find a way to win close games,'' Kelce said to reporters after the loss, per True Jersey. "We've lost close games. It's the same things over and over.''

The Eagles are making similar mistakes to the ones that have haunted them throughout the season -- crushing penalties, turnovers, drops and other miscues.

"We can't keep beating ourselves like this, especially in the first half. We're just making too many mistakes. It's everybody. We're just not doing our jobs.''

Kelce added that he's not confident the bye week will fix this issues, mostly because he believes they should have already been cleaned up by now. One thing the bye week will certainly do is help the offensive line get healthy again -- this is key for the offense to turn things around in the second half of the season.
