It appears unlikely Ole Miss star defensive end Robert Nkemdiche will play against Texas A&M on Saturday night.

According to head coach Hugh Freeze, Nkemdiche woke up with headaches Saturday morning. He had suffered a concussion last week in the loss to Memphis. Although he was cleared to participate Friday afternoon, the recent development reverses that initial thought.

It's a blow for an Ole Miss defense going up against an explosive A&M offense. Nkemdiche has 17 tackles on the season, to go with 1.5 sacks and 5.5 tackles for loss.
