New Orleans Saints linebackers coach Joe Vitt is listed on the injury report, according to head coach Sean Payton.

As Mike Triplett of ESPN reports, Vitt was called "doubtful" by the head coach after suffering a torn Achilles and broken wrist when he attempted to chase down a man and woman who were trying to steal his car and a neighbor's car.

"Joe Vitt is on the injury report," Saints coach Sean Payton told ESPN Wednesday morning. "He'll probably be doubtful. He tore an Achilles and broke his wrist, so he's on a little scooter."

According to Triplett, the incident happened just before 4 a.m. on Saturday, and Vitt saw a shadow run across his front lawn. He went outside, which led to him seeing both the woman and the man, who took off running. Vitt took off after the two, before tripping and suffering the injuries listed above.

While Vitt may miss a bit of time, the 61-year-old proved his no-nonsense mentality in his incredible attempt to pursue the two thieves.
