From zero to the best defender in the conference in just one week. That's what Dolphins defensive end Cameron Wake accomplished.
Entering Week 6, he had recorded zero sacks. Zilch. Nothing. In Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans, he brought down Marcus Mariota four times, while also forcing two fumbles. The performance was enough to nab himself AFC Defensive Player of the Week honors for the third time in his career.
More impressively, the four sacks moved him from last in the league in that category, to 11th in just one week. He now has five tackles on the season as he and the Dolphins look to be back on track under interim head coach Dan Campbell -- for the time being, at least.
