- CHICAGO - The New York Mets try to finish off a sweep of the Chicago Cubs in the NL Championship Series. Rookie Steven Matz pitches for New York against Jason Hammel in Game 4 at Wrigley Field. Game starts 8:07 p.m.

- TORONTO - Up 3-1 in the best-of-seven ALCS, the Royals can secure a return trip to the World Series with a win in Game 5. Kansas City's Edinson Volquez and the Blue Jay's Marco Estrada face off in a rematch of the series opener. Game starts 4:07 p.m.

- SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The dynamic of the Seahawks-49ers rivalry has changed dramatically in a matter of months with the absence of Jim Harbaugh trying to outdo old nemesis Pete Carroll, and with neither team sitting atop the NFC West standings this time. And Mississippi State coach Ben Howland led UCLA to three straight Final Fours. The trio bring a jolt of personality - and top-notch basketball - to the Southeastern Conference this season.

- ZURICH - German soccer great Franz Beckenbauer and FIFA vice present Angel Maria Villar are being investigated by ethics prosecutors and are awaiting verdicts in their cases. Villar is serving as FIFA's interim senior vice president while President Sepp Blatter is suspended.
