A bet's a bet: STL theme park changes ride's name after Cubs win NLDS

Not even roller coaster ride names are safe when it comes to the postseason.

Before the Chicago Cubs won the NLDS against the St. Louis Cardinals three games to one, two theme parks made a bet.

Six Flags St. Louis and Six Flags Great America in Chicago apparently put naming rights to their American Thunder roller coaster on the line, and after the Cubs locked up the series in Game 4 the switch was made:

The Chicago park gladly accepted its victory and boasted about it on Twitter:

This isn't necessarily as exciting as mayors making light-hearted bets about a big postseason series, but it's still something. Besides, given the fierce rivalry between the two clubs this was probably a tough reality for the St. Louis park management personnel (assuming they're Cards fans, of course).
